So by now you should have some goals set. If you are just joining us or need a refresher, you can refer back to the beginning blog post here.

Now it is time to explore HOW and WHAT you can do to help achieve those goals. The first thing we need to look at is:

Does your brand and marketing work for you or against you?
This will be the running theme for the upcoming blog posts. We will go through some of the key brand and marketing components to make sure the messaging, design, layout, functionality and marketing are all working cohesively to help you reach your business goals.

Your website.
First things first – is it mobile friendly? When a search is performed on a mobile device, Google may not show websites, that are not mobile friendly, in the search results. That means you may not ever show up in a search that someone performs on a mobile device. For example, our faux company, Tom’s Party Tents, is not mobile friendly. So when someone searches, on their mobile device, for party tents, party tent rentals, any key phrase that would be appropriate for his industry, the possibility of him showing up in the search results is very slim. =(

If your website is being used as a marketing tool to gain business, it is imperative that your website is searchable across all platforms!

Not sure what the difference is, here is an example of one of our clients websites:
NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY vs MOBILE FRIENDLY

How do you correct this problem?
Reaching out to professionals is the best choice, they can guide you through the process and implement best practices for a user/search friendly website that will perform across all platforms.
